Welcome to the new POST Website!

We’re extremely excited to be bringing you this new format for POST!

November 24, 2012

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re extremely proud to announce a new chapter (pardon the pun) in the life of POST Magazine! From today, content will be updated on a regular basis, and articles from our previous editions will be reformatted and freely available online!

Perhaps the thing we are most excited about, however, is that you, our audience, will now be able to take part in the conversation. From right now, you are able to register as a POST reader, and comment on all of the articles we publish. We hope that the discussions that our content inspires will be thought-provoking, challenging, witty and entertaining, and we encourage you to take part. After all, without you, POST only tells half the story.

Of course, the launch of the website doesn’t mean that the print edition of POST is disappearing. In fact, we plan to use the regularly updated content and discussions as the integral part of regular printed digests. The hard copy provides us with a nuanced and visual method of curation through the design of layout and the juxtaposition of content. For us, print-media provides an opportunity to construct a narrative throughout each respective issue, by finding and framing thematic links in the content that we publish.

By contrast, we hope that the new website will facilitate a wider readership and dialogue between audience and magazine, through its immediacy and reader commentary – one of the main goals of POST is to provide a medium through which architects, critics and the public can engage in meaningful dialogue about space, design and society, and the future directions and interactions between these.

So, welcome! Take some time to have a look around the site – submit an article, comment on an existing one, or drop us a line (or donate!). We hope you enjoy the new postmagazine.org

Much love,

The POST Team.
